Rosanna Lockwood is a leading international presenter and journalist, with significant experience anchoring shows for major news networks across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Now based in the US, she travels widely for broadcast and live event projects.

Rosanna made her name hosting her own daily news and interview show ‘Prime Time with Rosanna Lockwood’ on British television, providing analysis of major stories in the UK and around the world. She was also Piers Morgan’s trusted stand-in for his flagship debate show 'Piers Morgan Uncensored'.

Prior to this, Rosanna was an anchor for CNBC International, hosting Squawk Box and Street Signs programming in London and Singapore, alongside reporting for CNBC, MSNBC and the wider NBC network.

As a journalist, Rosanna has spent the past 15 years living and working in London, Moscow, Dubai and Singapore, covering everything from wars and diplomacy to stock markets and red carpets. Her accrued expertise lies at the intersection of geopolitics, economics and business.

Rosanna has interviewed world leaders, central bank governors, celebrities and CEOs, and her prowess in the field of business and finance has made her a popular MC, chairperson, and panel moderator for live events. She has delivered on-stage discussions with Nobel Prize-winning scientists, best-selling authors, and senior bankers at major conferences and summits around the world.

Biography

Rosanna was born into a British military family in Hong Kong in 1988, and later grew up in the southwest of England. She graduated with a BA degree in English Literature and Drama from Royal Holloway University of London in 2009, and started her career in financial communications. Rosanna qualified as a journalist in 2013, with a BJTC-accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the London College of Communication. She first moved to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in 2015, where she worked as a freelance television news correspondent for Reuters and developed a career as a chairperson and moderator for live events. She also spent some time working in Moscow during this period, and began learning Russian. In March 2020, Rosanna moved to Singapore to join the on-air team for CNBC International, where she remained for the entire Covid-19 pandemic. She later transferred to the London bureau of CNBC, and then stayed in the UK to launch her own prime time show with News UK. Rosanna returned to Dubai in 2024 to work across a variety of international broadcast projects, before emigrating to the USA in 2026.

Rosanna now lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their two dogs.

In her spare time, she is a proud Senior Fellow for the John Schofield Trust, mentoring underprivileged early-career journalists in the UK.
